A man died after a three-car crash on the M25.

A Range Rover Evoque, Ford Focus and Vauxhall Corsa crashed on the M25 at around 9.45pm on September 23 close to junction 24 on the M25, near Potters Bar.

Three people were found to be injured, including a 60-year-old man who sadly died at the scene.

A 55-year-old woman, his passenger, was taken to hospital in east London and is in a stable condition, while a 62-year-old woman, driver of the Ranger Rover, was taken to a hospital in Hertfordshire with minor injuries.

She was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and taken to an east London police station where she remains in custody.

The driver of the Ford Focus was not injured

The London Fire Brigade, London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police attended the scene.

Detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision.
