In the wake of a serious house fire, residents are being urged to take part in lessons which could save lives.
Borehamwood Fire Crews will be running CPR awareness sessions to teach basic life-saving skills.
The events will show attendees how to perform CPR, and how to use a defibrillator.
The aim is to teach people valuable skills that can be used in an emergency, but it is not a training course with a qualification at the end.
Sessions will be held at Borehamwood Fire Station on Monday, October 23 and Tuesday, November 7 at 6.30pm and will last for one hour.
Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis.
