A team headed to run a summer camp for local children in Ukraine.
Leaders from Whetstone charity Evolve spent eight days running a summer camp in the Carpathian hills of southwest Ukraine for 80 local children.
The 2017 camp saw 12 people from the UK join with two Ukrainian and four Belarussian people to train up young people to become leaders of the future, and learn English to help them in later life.
Charity director Jason Bennett said: "This was by far our most ambitious project to date and one our leaders accomplished with great success.
"Word has spread as to how nurturing, educational and fun our camp are. With 92 per cent of campers returning from camp 2016 we must be doing something right."
A group of six 14-year-old Ukrainians also joined the leadership team and were supported by the team at Evolve.
The charity also financially support a kindergarten in Minsk and a camp in Pinsk.
