It's getting close to the weekend, so here's your penultimate update for this week.
Weather
It's a rather nasty start to the morning with rain greeting the early birds.
The sun will come out from about 9am and stick around throughout the working day, with highs of 22C, before the rain comes back at around 6pm for a quick shower before nightfall.
Tube and train
There is a good service on all London Underground lines, London Midland trains, East Midlands trains and Thameslink trains.
On Network Rail most services in the area are running smoothly, though there is still disruption going into and out of Waterloo because of a train derailment on Tuesday.
Traffic
There are increasing delays on the M25 anticlockwise between junction 20 for the A4251 and junction 18 for the A404 Rickmansworth Road.
There are severe delays heading north from Potters Bar on Kentish Lane between A1000 Great North Road and B158 Kentish Lane.
There is traffic on the North Orbital Road heading south from St Albans and London Colney, and some traffic on the M25 junction here at 21A.
The A1 Barnet Bypass is heavy with traffic as well as the North Circular heading westbound from Brent Cross all the way over to Southgate.
