A care home has received a "good" rating from a health and social care watchdog.
Linden Lodge, Linden Way, Southgate, was rated "good" by the Care and Quality Commission (CQC) after an inspection on June 7.
Inspectors commented that residents "established positive and caring relationship with the staff that supported them" and described they carers as polite and like family.
The report was also positive about the leadership of the care home, which is managed overall by Priory Adult Care, and specifically commented on the efficiency and approachability of the home's manager, Lynne Thompson.
Ms Thompson said: "I am delighted with this report.
"It shows all the hard work everyone has done to make the home the great success story it has become.
"We will continue to do everything we can to ensure that residents get the most from their time with us."
Residents of the care home also have the opportunity to taker part in exhibitions such as going to the cinema and exhibitions, and are able to share their opinions about changes to the home at Your Voice meetings.
Comments from relatives were similarly positive.
