The latest designs for the Brent Cross redevelopment are to be open for public viewing this month.

The £4.5 billion development includes redeveloping the shopping centre itself with 6,700 new homes and a new town centre nearby, a new Thameslink station in Cricklewood and 3.4 million square feet of office space.

The images on display will show the new station, rail freight facility and waste transfer plant in Cricklewood, as well as plans for two new buildings in Brent Cross South to replace the Whitefield Estate.

The public will be encouraged to give feedback on the plans and the exhibitions will also serve as public consultation on the plans.

Leader of Barnet Council Cllr Richard Cornelius said: "After many years of planning, it is exciting to see substantial progress being made to transform this area."

The regenerations plans are a join project between Barnet Council and Argent Related, with housing developer L+Q set to manage the buildings in Brent Cross South.
