80-year-old Lea Adri-Soejoko was found dead on Tuesday.
The trial over the murder of a grandmother in Colindale has been pushed to 2018.
Lea Adri-Soejoko was strangled and her body dumped in an allotment in Colindale on February 28.
Ms Adri-Soejoko was secretary of the Colindale Allotment Garden Association and police were alerted to her disappearance after she did not arrive at one of their meetings.
Rahim Mohammadi, 40, will stand trial for murder in January next year.
