Student societies are collecting blood and essential items for victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.
Middlesex University's Islamic Society and student Ayah Benberna have organised an emergency response to the fire in north Kensington in gathering volunteers to donate clothes, money, food and blood.
They have also spent time organising goods at community centres to sent off to those who need them.
Vice president of the Arab Society Sabren Amin said: "When you see the devastating situation that happened on the news, I don't feel like there’s any human that wouldn't want to help, especially knowing that the affected area is only a few train stops away."
Ms Amin added that it was amazing to see many volunteers who are fasting, lift heavy boxes in the heat to help out.
She said: "As sad as the situation is, it's incredibly heartwarming to see people from all backgrounds and walks of life come together and give all the support that they could.
"Whether its people generously donating food, clothes and sleep essentials or helping to sort out all the items and delivering them."
