A Potters Bar fast food restaurant has reopened after remodelling, creating 15 new jobs.

McDonald’s on Darkes Lane has upgraded their ordering with four self-service kiosks, added free Wifi and iPads on tables, and a new table service for those with bags and buggies.

Owner Atul Pathak, who runs the Potters Bar restaurant along with 29 others, said: I am dedicated to investing in Potters Bar and in the development of my employees.

He added: “I’m confident that this new look restaurant on Darkes Lane will be a welcome addition to the area and I’m looking forward to welcoming our customers in to show off the changes.”

Along with the upgraded equipment, 15 new jobs have been created for people to work in the kitchen, front of house and develop their skills.

Mr Pathak said: “These changes have been designed to make our customers’ experience as positive as possible and the new technology benefits everyone – whether that’s providing people with a chance to get to grips with using a tablet in a relaxed environment, or providing mums with a quick and easy way of ordering their food.”
