Forecasters have warned of frosty and foggy conditions
Temperatures are set to plunge to below zero overnight.
The Met Office has forecast tonight to be one of the coldest nights of the year due to the clear skies.
The region has endured a cold, dry and sunny spell of weather since last week.
Tonight, tempretures will fall to -2C at 4am.
On Tuesday temperatures will struggle to go over five degrees, and will drop to -3C in the evening.
