Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Potters Bar.

It is believed the thieves gained access to the back entrance of a home in Mutton Lane, Potters Bar on Monday October 10.

A quantity of cash, jewellery and a 49inch Panasonic TV was taken from the property.

Detective Constable Duncan McCormick said: “The thieves left the property via the front door and as they have taken a TV may well have needed to have used a vehicle.

“If you were in the area that day and saw the burglars leaving the property, any suspicious activity or any vehicles which may have seemed out of place, then please contact me.”
