Here are the three worst GPs across Hertsmere according to NHS Choice.

These services are rated by customers on five different categories including telephone access, appointments, dignity and respect, involvement in decisions and providing accurate information.

It is based on a five star rating on the NHS Choice website and these four have been rated as below three stars.

1) Kapacee DRC, in Theobald Street, Borehamwood, has been rated TWO STARS

Users of this surgery have advised people to 'avoid by all costs' and the 'worst GP surgery and staff'.

One described the the staff as being 'depressing and rude' with a 'dated decor'.

One patient who has been using the surgery for nearly 20 years took their eight-week old son twice but had 'awful experiences' and they 'left unhappy and angry'.

They even advised the surgery to improve the way the doctors speak to and treat patients.

Others have said the surgery is 'excellent' and they would even recommend it.

The surgery has been approached for a comment.

2) Another surgery was given TWO STARS. The Schopwick Surgery in Windmill Street, Bushey

This surgery has been described as 'disappointing' and 'almost impossible to get through on the phone'.

Others have said the surgery is 'pretty useless' and they cancelled an appointment 'without even telling me'.

However one commented gave the surgery FIVE STARS saying they 'cannot fault the practice' and have been 'impressed at the way this one is conducted'.

The practice manager of the Schopwick Surgery was unable to provide a comment as it was her day off.

3) The Grove Medical Centre​ in Borehamwood Shopping Park was the third worst rated GP across Hertsmere with TWO AND HALF STARS

For three pages patients have been rating this GP. One said they were 'refused treatment' because of a mental health problem. 

They said the GP 'had the audacity to say if you want a prescription go see a private doctor'.

Some have said the surgery has a 'terrible unsafe receptionist' as they said they could only manage a telephone appointment.

One person who has been with the surgery for nine years said they 'found the doctors totally arrogant' and there is 'not one decent doctor there'.

However, one person, Abi Venkat, gave the surgery FIVE STARS saying it has a 'friendly receptionist' and 'looks forward to get a good service from this GP'.
