With the Jubilee line set to become the third line to adopt the Night Tube service tonight, relying on a lengthy night bus or taxi at the end of the night will no longer be an issue.

Stations will be manned throughout the night and services will run approximately every ten minutes on the Stanmore to Stratford route.

Here are a few things which you’ll be able to do thanks to the new service.

Find love: You never know where you might find your perfect match. The unflattering lighting and cosy seat layout could provide the perfect backdrop to your courting displays.

Party all night: Hailed as a game changer for ravers, the tube will no doubt become a haven for inebriates hanging on to the last lingering strands of their nights out.

Stay for the encore: With North Greenwich station right round the corner from the o2 arena, you’ll never have to clockwatch during a gig again.

Work night shifts: Sorry guys, you have to take the good with the bad. No longer will you be able to excuse yourself before the end of the shift to get the last train home.

Watch your team lose on penalties: This only applies if you’re watching England, but dashing off before the shootout will be a thing of the past with regular trains running from Wembley Park station throughout the night.

Save money on taxi fares: For those of us with more modest incomes, taxis are an expensive luxury. The tube is a much more bank balance-friendly alternative.
