The priciest car parks in Borehamwood have been revealed.

Visiting the Hertsmere Council offices, which have 400 spaces available in their car park, will cost 70p up to an hour, or £1.50 for up to two hours.

Staying there for more than five hours will cost £5.

Spending an afternoon at Meadow Park or the Ark Theatre, in Shenley Road, and parking at the Brook Road Car Park will also mean paying 70 for up to an hour, £3 for four hours or £4 for five hours.

Leaving your car while you catch the train at Elstree and Borehamwood Station, in Allum Lane, offers a 24 hour stay during weekdays for £6.80 or a flat rate of £3.30, between 10am and 12am.

If you’re planning to park for a week, the cost is £32.

The Clarendon Road Car Park costs 70 for up to an hour or £5 for more than five hours and is located next to an array of tourist attractions in the area, including the Elstree Studios, BBC Elstree Centre and Borehamwood Football Club, in Broughinge Road.

For a quick visit to the Post Office or Halfords, the Furzehill Road multi-story car park, which has 208 spaces, will charge 70p for up to an hour, or £2 for up to three hours.

The car park on Theobald Street is short stay but it is free to park there.

Meanwhile, the cost of parking in Radlett has also been revealed.

If you’re planning to hit a hole in one at the Porters Park Golf Club, in Shenley Hill, the Newberries carpark, along Watling Street, is useful for leaving your car.

Parking for an hour is free and for a longer stay, five hours is £4. Bank holiday and disabled spots are free.
