More than 100 people from different faiths came together for a special interfaith event over the weekend.
Organised by Hertsmere Forum of Faith and supported by Hertsmere Borough Council and held at their council offices, the theme was 'travelling together in peace.'
A series of presentations were given explaining the place of pilgrimage and spiritual journeys in the different religions.
These were given by children from the Hindu Bhaktivedanta Manor School, in Aldenham, Catholic and Church of England Christians, children and their imam from the Borehamwood Islamic Society and the Rabbi of the Rambam Sephardi Synagogue.
The event had refreshments from the different faith traditions which were served at the end of the evening giving the guest an opportunity to meet and talk with each other.
The programme closed with singing by young people from the Pentecostal New Life Assembly.
