A Finchley resident is asking her ‘beautiful community’ to send their support to the family of shooting victims Anny and Bervil Ekofo.
Mrs Ekofo, 53, and her 21-year-old nephew were killed in the early morning yesterday when unknown shooters entered her flat in Elmshurst Crescent, East Finchley.

Jo Bristow, who lives in East Finchley, has now started a Go Fund Me web page asking people for donations in tribute to the deceased to help their grieving family.
The money will be used to help the Ekofo family, including Mrs Ekofo’s husband and nine children and Mr Ekofo’s mother and siblings, pay for funeral costs and even therapy, if needed.
Ms Bristow, who works for University College London, said: “East Finchley was voted the happiest part of London to live and that is because of the good community that lives there.
“Let's show what a beautiful community we are and let's help this family all that we can at a time of great tragedy.
“I caught the bus regularly with Anny who was a gentle lady with a beautiful smile and I am so sad this could happen to her family.”
Ms Bristow has started the page with her own donation of £100 and hopes to reach a target of £1,000.
Anyone can donate to the page at https://www.gofundme.com/2pcgu4s.
