Flooding is expected in Edgware and Colindale as sunny weather gives way to heavy rain.
Warnings issued by the government this morning (September 16) say flooding is expected at Silk Stream and immediate action is required.
Heavy rain is expected to continue throughout the morning across the whole area.
This is likely to cause river levels to continue to rise with flooding to low lying land, roads and property expected.
There are no severe flood warnings so far.
Travel times are expected to be affected by the weather.
Residents should be aware there may be hidden dangers like submerged items or debris in flood waters.
