Today will be dry, with some patchy cloud but also sunny periods. Highs of 24C. Tomorrow could be the hottest September day in more than 50 years.
Traffic:
There is heavy traffic on the M25 anticlockwise between J20 A41 towards Kings Langley and J19 A41 towards Watford (below).

Train:
There is no Thameslink service due to engineering works. Tickets are being accepted on local bus routes and London Underground services
On the London overground, there is no service between South Tottenham and Barking due to engineering works.
