A person was taken to hospital following a car crash involving five cars.
Borehamwood Fire and Potters Bar fire were called to the Barnet Bypass at around 10.54pm last night (August 7) after reports of five cars crashing into each other.
One of the cars ended up crashing into the central reservation. The man driving was trapped inside his car.
Fire crews removed the roof and two doors to rescued the trapped casualty.
The road was closed until 12.44am and two people suffered slight injuries.
Police and ambulance were also assisting the fire crews. The trapped man was taken to hospital.
