A man has pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
In January 18, police stopped a suspicious vehicle in Linton Avenue, Borehamwood.
Abdirizaq Awmusse, 18, from Grove House, Islington, was arrested when a quantity of drugs discarded by him was recovered by officers.
Mr Awmusse was sentenced to 20 months on June 22 at St Albans Crown Court.
Chief Inspector for Hertsmere Steve O'Keefe said: "Drug dealing causes harm to individuals and to the whole community - it will not be tolerated.
"I deploy a range of overt and covert tactics to disrupt and detect drug dealers operating in the area.
"As shown in this conviction the local police work relentlessly towards pursuing such criminality."
