A large number of ladies clothing has been stolen from garages where it was being stored.

Over several months between July 1, 2015, and March 18, 2016, the clothing stored in the garages behind Grove Road, Borehamwood, was stolen.

All of the stock was taken from one garage and around half of the stock was stolen from two other garages.

The clothing is labelled with the brand Cava-Bien.

Police Constable Mike McCoy said: “It would have taken a considerable amount of time for the offender(s) to remove the boxes of clothing so I am appealing for anyone who saw boxes of clothing being loaded into a vehicle in the area to get in touch.

“We have followed several lines of enquiry and now have information that the stolen stock may be on sale at markets and car boot sales.”

Anyone with information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on 101.
