Fire crews were called to a car on fire in the middle of a field.
Borehamwood Fire were called to Farm Close, in Shenleybury, at around 9.29pm last night.
According to the fire crew it is believed the car was a Ford but there was nothing left of it at all.
The fire was extinguished by 10.30pm by using dry powder.
Police are carrying on with further investigations as the fire is being treated as deliberate.
