A man was assaulted outside McDonalds in Borehamwood.
Between 4.45pm and 4.50pm on March 25, a man was approached while in the car park of McDonalds in Shenley Road.
He was asked in an aggressive manner for a lighter. The victim said he did not have one and went inside.
The offended grabbed hold of the victim’s neck causing grazing before letting go and leaving on foot towards Shenley Road.
PC Ash Oakshott said: “This incident happened on Good Friday and I’m sure lots of people would have witnessed this unprovoked attack.
“The man we would like to speak to had an injured foot and was wearing a plastic medical boot at the time of the incident.”
Anyone with information should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on 101.
