Students have returned from a week-long trip to the Bay of Naples, Italy, where they explored the geographical history of the area and performed concerts.

Forty students from Edge Grove School in Radlett began their visit around the Isle of Capri where they ventured into caves and explored the historic surroundings.

Pupils also performed their first concert at Piemont Church where the school’s jazz band and sax ensemble and soloists (right) played to an audience.

Headteacher Ben Evans said: “This was an amazing cultural experience for our children.

“Seeing so many wonderful sites, not to mention the applause and enthusiasm they experienced from the locals following their musical concerts is something they will always remember for years.”
