A flood alert has been issued after a weekend of heavy rain.
The Environment Agency (EA) issued the alert for the The Upper River Colne and Radlett Brook at Colney Heath, London Colney, Borehamwood and Radlett as river levels remain high.
They said flooding of low lying land and roads is possible.
The warning came as temperatures are set to drop dramatically in the coming days, with forecasters warning about the possibility of sleet.
There are more heavy showers expected today.
