A Borehamwood film and TV business is planning a series of new ventures in 2016 and are planning to collaborate with key players in the industry.

Red Rock Entertainment, based at Elstree Studios, partnered with the Rays of Sunshine charity in 2015 and they have arranged various experience days for children to be immersed in.

Rays of Sunshine is a charity that specialises in granting the wishes of seriously ill children and organising large scale events.

Managing director at Red Rock Entertainment, Gary Collins, said: “It’s been a big year in our industry and we’re involved with more productions than ever before.

“We finished shooting two films last month and have just wrapped up another TV series.

“With three brand new film products due to launch in this month, the New Year’s already looking very busy.

“Our partnerships with charities and leaders in the British film industry mean that we’re involved in a huge range of projects which, most importantly, people can get involved in to pursue their passions for film in the local area.”

These events days include meeting with actors such as Timothy Spall and James Buckley and popstar Olly Murs.

Red Rock Entertainment also host seminars at Elstree Studios where they encouraged young British filmmakers to get started in the industry.

They have also begun a competition to find the UK’s best short film with entries open until January 31.
