April 18, 2001 13:15: Croydon Schools' Football Association's showed no mercy on opponents, Bermondsey who were one player short as they turned on the style in this Finch Invitation Trophy group match at Croygas.
Strikers, Jaydon Gibbs (Duppas) and Aaron Miller (Davidson) each scored twice in the first half to add to a goal by Mark Dowdeswell (Monks Orchard), making the score 5-0 to Croydon at the interval.
Miller went on to notch his hat trick in the second half, and sub Ashley Lawrence also scored. A last minute own goal made it 8-0.
Croydon have won all 18 of their matches this season and will have five cup finals after the Easter break.
