MOST people hate going to the dentist – but one doctor who wants to prove it is not as bad as it seems helped raise money for charity.
Drayton House Dental Practice, in Drayton Road, Borehamwood, raised £350 for the Mayor of Hertsmere’s charity appeal, which supports Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Alzheimer’s Society.
The mayor himself, Cllr Martin Worster, also made an appearance on the day.
Rohit Mistry, practice principal, said: “It was a warm social event – we made links with the local community- it’s important that we raise our head above the parapet every so often.”
