An elderly woman was lpushed to the ground and had her handbag stolen during a robbery in Borehamwood.

The woman, in her 70s, was walking near Rye Close, Borehamwood, on Wednesday, September 23 when a man grabbed her handbag from her shoulder.

“I am keen to trace the person responsible as soon as possible and am appealing for anyone who thinks they may have seen someone in the area matching the description given to come forward.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has any other information which may assist the investigation.”
