A CARE home is inviting the community to celebrate Older People’s Day.
Aldwyck House, Celia Johnson Court, Borehamwood, is inviting people over the age of 65 to watch the classic film The Inn of the Sixth Happiness.
It was filmed at MGM studios in Borehamwood, which was demolished in 1970, and is now home to properties such as Celia Johnson Court.
Guests are invited to join residents from 2pm to 5pm on October 1 at the home for a vintage-themed event, with classic cinema style food and drink.
The free day has been paid for by a grant from Hertsmere Borough Council.
For more information on the event, please contact Fiona on Fiona.Brown@aldwyck.co.uk or 020 8207 3700.
