THIS brightly photo of sorbet-coloured violas would make a perfect greetings card.
Taken by Colleen Brunton, of Lonsdale Drive, Enfield, the photo shows a selection of the lemon and orange sorbet violas her husband Ken recently planted in their garden.
The snap has been selected by Chief Photographer Peter Beal as our photo of the week.
He said: “These beautifully photographed violas reminds us all that summer is passing into Autumn.
“The richness of the colours warm our hearts as we gaze into the picture.
“This photo would make an excellent greetings card. Give your husband a big hug for planting such lovely/beautiful flowers.”
