A PARKED car was rammed into a tree after being hit in a collision.
Emergency services were called at 10.30am this morning to reports of a collision along Wightman Road, in Hornsey.
On arrival crews found a grey Renault Scenic had collided with a parked blue Peugeot, leaving the Peugeot embedded in a tree on the pavement.
Officers from the London Fire Brigade helped the driver of the Renault out from his vehicle, which had overturned on to its side in the crash.
LFB confirmed that one person was injured and has been taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
A spokesman from the LAS said: "We were called at 10.42am to Raleigh Road to reports of a road traffic collision.
"We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder in a car to the scene.
"We remain at the scene."
Police say the vehicles were made safe and later recovered.
The road has now reopened.
