Leisure centre staff will tread water for a whole shift to raise money for charity.
All members of staff at Hatch End Swimming Pool and Bannister Sports Centre will be treading water for an entire 16 hour shift on Friday, September 4 for Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
Having already raised £45 of their £150 target, all money donated will be sent to the Anthony Nolan Trust, a blood cancer charity and bone marrow register.
The challenge will take place at Hatch End Swimming Pool from 6.30am to 10pm, with most staff members treading water for at least half an hour and some attempting a total of an hour and a half.
