Singing school-goers will come together to perform in a choir at a charity concert.

Pupils from across London, including those from Haberdashers Askes School in Borehamwood, Nower Hill High School in Pinner and Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Barnet, will take to the stage this month alongside singer-songwriter Manika Kaur.

The concert will conclude Ms Kaur’s tour promoting her second album I Bow To You Waheguru.

The schools will be joined by world-class musicians to perform devotional music with a modern twist at the performance at Union Chapel, Islington, on August 22.

Proceeds from the one-off concert will go to the Kirtan for Causes Foundation, an organisation that works to improve educational opportunities for children in Punjab, Pakistan.
