After the enormous build up and months of training for the London Marathon, we've caught up with our runners to find out how they got on and how much they have raised for their charities.
Big Brother 6 contestant Kinga Karolczak, 22, from Borehamwood, managed to run 17 miles before having to stop.
She said: "If there was £1million at the finishing line I would never have reached it. I was trained to jog, so I jogged the 17 miles. I was limping really badly and was getting worried. I was just worn out, but I tried my very hardest.
"I went home and put loads of Vaseline on my feet."
Jeremy Miller, 25, raised £2,600 for the British Friends of Boys Town Jerusalem. Mr Miller ran with his dad Stephen, 50, of Chandos Road, Borehamwood.
The pair finished in seven hr 12 min, after Stephen needed medical attention for heat exhaustion. He said: "I wanted to complete the marathon with my dad and I'm very proud we got round together."
Borehamwood resident Carolyn Bennett ran for the Leukaemia Research Fund. She said: "I completed it in six hr three min. I'm glad I finished and I raised £1,100 with more coming in."
Kevin Marriott, 39, from Borehamwood, finished his second London Marathon in four hr 37 min. He said: "It went well even though it was hot. I have raised £750 so far and I really enjoyed it."
Daniel Renak, 19, of Park Crescent, Elstree, finished his first London Marathon in five hr 34 min. Mr Renak ran for Chickenshed theatre.
David Rosenfeld, from Radlett, managed a time of four hr 31 min, raising £1,800 for children and families charity Norwood.
He said: "I am so pleased to have finished and raised more money for my charity."
Marc Leslie, also from Borehamwood, ran for The North London Hospice, completing the marathon in five hr 19 min. He said: "It wasn't as quick as last year but I've raised around £2,000 so far."
Sarah and Ian Mulley, both 35, of Shenley Road, Borehamwood, who have four children, completed with a time of six hr 50 min. They raised £3,500 for Well Child.
