Commuters and family paid tribute to a "lovely man" who ran the newspaper stall at Radlett station by putting up a plaque.
Vinu Patel, who worked for more than 15 years on the kiosk at platform one, died in February this year after being taken ill.
Stuart Nagler, from Nagler Wolfson, Shenley Hill, organised arranged for a plaque to be put up in the station's waiting room in memory of Mr Patel, who passengers have said is "dearly missed".
One commuter wrote online that Mr Patel was a "friendly presence" at the station who was a "hard working, diligent and dedicated man with a cordial nature".
