New kits will be launched as families enjoy an afternoon of fun and football at a community open day.

The Hive football ground, in Camrose Avenue, Edgware, will be buzzing with activity as both young and old will turn out for Barnet FC’s annual community open day this Sunday, July 19.

Starting at 11am with free entry for all, there will be a number of activities on offer throughout the day to whet the appetites of all Bees fans ahead of the new season, including the official launch of the club’s new home and away kits.

Football fans will also have the opportunity to meet the Barnet FC players and take a photo with the Football Conference Trophy, which the Bees won this season seeing them promoted to the Football League.

All those in attendance on the day will be able to enjoy free entry to London Bees versus Aston Villa Ladies in the Women’s Super League, as the Bees look to build on their victory against Millwall Lionesses last time out.

The Hive will also put on a whole host of activities for children, from 5-a-side and 7-a-side tournaments, to inflatables, face painting and a special visit from mascot Mr Bumble.

Kicking off a midday, guests can take their seats to watch a charity football match between Barnet FC supporters and Harrow Council.
