Families got into the community spirit with a funfair to mark the end of festival fortnight.
Thousands of people flocked to Meadow Park, in Borehamwood, on Saturday for Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council’s 59th annual festival.
Highlights included John Evens, a balancing artist who balanced 27 gorilla tubs on his head, a falconry display, a dog show and 60 stalls.
There were also performances from K’s Schol of Dance and Hertsmere Academy Dance and Performing Arts.
Town mayor Councillor Richard Butler said: “It’s brilliant going round all the stalls and meeting so many families having a good time and getting in to the community spirit.”
