A teenager and her friends will strut their stuff on the catwalk to raise money for Children in Need.
Alessandra Cazacu, of Cranes Way, Borehamwood, was given a £500 grant from charity Vinspied to hold the event.
The 17-year-old has enlisted the help of people aged nine and 15, who have spent the past few months customising and creating clothes to make sure the fashion show is a success.
She said: “I knew I wanted to raise money for a good cause and people get more emotional when it’s about children.
“It’s been hard work and I am scared that not many people will turn up, but I hope to raise around £600.”
The event, which is being supported by Youth Connexions in Borehamwood, will be held at 96 Shenley Road at 5pm on Friday.
