An MP told children about the highs and lows of being a politician when he visited their school.
Year 5 pupils at Kenilworth Primary School, in Borehamwood, had a visited for newly elected MP for Hertsmere, Oliver Dowden.
The Conservative politician told them how he had worked for Prime Minister David Cameron before becoming an MP, and has met American president Barack Obama.
The school held its own mock election on polling day on May 7, and Mr Dowden spent time with the winning party – Helping Everyone’s Environmnent.
