Volunteers spruce up playground for disabled children
Gardeners dug out nettles and weeded a new playground to make it safe for disabled children to use.
Aldenham Country Playground welcomed a team from the Lloyds Banking Group, as part of their Day to Make a Difference scheme.
The team sanded and varnished the play equipment to make it ready for the summer months.
The purpose-built multi sensory facility for children, in Elstree, was designed for children and young people with disabilities and other special needs.
It provides a secure, community based facility for families, groups and schools.
