An education group for elderly people saw the place where the Battle of Britain was led from.
The University of the Third Age, which meet in Barnet, Harrow and Borehamwood, visited the Bentley Priory Museum in Stanmore.
The Grade II-listed building was the headquarters of Fighter Command and was central to the way England won the Second World War.
