A tennis club is holding an open day to encourage disabled people to take up tennis.

Radlett Lawn Tennis and Squash Club, in Watling Street, Radlett, is holding the event on Saturday, April 25 from 12pm to 3pm.

British Paralympic tennis number one, Jordanne Whiley, will take part in a match before people are given the chance to ask burning questions.

There will be coaching sessions and fastest serve competitions on the day.

Over the summer, the club will run free tennis sessions for girls aged 12 to 18 starting on Sunday, May 10.

Sessions will be held from 5pm to 6.30pm as part of Hertmsere Borough Council’s We Move She Moves scheme, and there is no need to book.
