Schoolchildren who rode their bikes to school were given a hearty, healthy breakfast.
As part of Newton Farm Nursery, Infant and Junior School’s travel plan, pupils have been invited to take part in a scheme that promotes cycling in and outside of school.
The Bike-it scheme, which is being provided by the charity Sustrans, aims to develop an understanding of safe cycling to encourage children to get pedalling.
