The incident happened near to Potters Bar on the M25
There are severe delays on the M25 after a car was crushed under the back of a lorry.
The London Fire Brigade was called at 6.25am to the accident near to Potters Bar.
No one was trapped in the collision.
Two clockwise lanes are closed due to accident investigation work after junction 24 for Potters Bar. There is congestion back to junction 20 for Kings Langley.
The M25 was completely blocked for more than an hour until 7.30am.
