Appeal against planning decision dismissed
An appeal launched against a decision by Hertsmere Borough Council for a garage extension has been dismissed.
An application was submitted to the council to extend a garage in The Ridgeway, Radlett, into a double garage with a first floor home office in a new Mansard roof.
The appeal was dismissed on the basis that the "overbearing" character and appearance of the proposal would not fit in with the surrounding area.
