A campaign to create a new Jewish primary school in Borehamwood has been launched.
The new 'LL' school would be made up of pupils of a Jewish background, but 50 per cent of children from other faiths will also be offered places.
The plans have been created by Ben Lewis and Tal Landsman, who held a consultation event at 96 Shenley Road, Borehamwood, last week.
The pair told the event the school would be “innovative, inspiring and inclusive” and would fuse traditional Jewish and British values.
Parliamentary candidate for Hertsmere Oliver Dowden spoke out in support of the plans during the meeting.
