Runners are being encouraged to take part in a fun run to raise money for a hospice.
For the second year running, Kenton-based St Luke’s Hospice and Sudbury Court Running Club have joined together for an annual fun run, in the hope of beating last year’s fundraising target of £5,000.
Peter Higgins from Kingsbury, who was the first runner to sign up, said: “After experiencing the great work St Luke’s do first hand, Run Wembley is a great way to support them and spread the word. If more people joined up for the run it would raise more money for the hospice.”
Registration costs £15 for the 10K, £8 for the 5K and £1 for the 1K. The run starts at Wembley & Sudbury Lawn Tennis and Squash Club, in Sylvester Road, Wembley, on Sunday, May 17 at 10.30am.
