People learnt more about the horrors of the First World War during an event at a museum.
Elstree and Borehamwood Museum hosted the Over by Christmas event, which was attended by more than 100 people.
Deputy Lord Lieutenant Stuart Nagler, Mayor and Mayoress of Hertsmere Carey and Shirley Keates and Mayor of Elstree and Borehamwood, Pat Strack, were also invited.
It included entertainment from the Elstree and Borehamwood Light Operatic Society and a viewing of the DVD ‘A County at War – Life on the Home Front of Hertfordshire’, commissioned by the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire.
