A script from a well-known television show, a Louis Vuitton handbag and Jimmy Choo boots were among items left behind at a hotel.
The valuable items were among a huge range of belongings left at Travelodges in Elstree Way and Studio Way in Borehamwood that made their way onto the Travelodge list of 'bizarre left behinds'.
Other items checked in at the hotel’s lost and found department included a collection of vintage champagne, new Jimmy Choo boots worth £1,000, a Louis Vuitton handbag and a wedding speech.
Across the UK, some of the more bizarre items include a Coutts cheque book, a prosthetic hand, a love letter written 40 years ago and a pug called Dancer.
Shakila Ahmed, a spokesperson for Travelodge, said: “This year’s lost & found inventory list has revealed some new unique items being left behind, and revealed how much smart technology has become a part of our everyday lives.
“The pace of life has become so fast and we are so eager to get from A to B that valuable possessions are easily being forgotten.”
Chargers, mobile phones, books and laptops are among the top ten items left behind in the two hotels during 2014.
All items left behind and not been claimed within three months are donated to charity shops.
